Esther’s Story

Esther Namaganda
10 years old

Esther lives with her father. They struggle with extreme poverty. Her mother died in childbirth. Our organization works to help supplement their needs.

Ester dreams of one day traveling. She would like to go to school to become a nurse. Please consider donating to help make Ester’s dreams possible.

Markson’s Story

Markson Ssenogga
14 years old

Markson’s parents died in a fire. He has been with us for four years.

He loves to sing Gospel music, and dreams of one day becoming an artist. His favorite meal is Matooke and meat. Markson is a bright and creative child who needs a sponsor to help him survive and thrive.

Florence’s Story

Florence Navvulu
9 years old

Florence’s parents died in a motorcycle accident when she was young. She has never been to school. Florence has been waiting for 3285 days to get someone who can support her studies.

Florence would like to be a teacher some day. She enjoys farming and agriculture. Her favorite food is rice and beans. Please consider donating to help Florence begin school and realize her dreams.

Shanitah’s Story

Shanitah Namubiru
8 years old

Shanitah loves to dance. She often says “I want to be the best dancer in the world!” Sadly, due to financial constraints, Shanitah has not managed to finish the first grade. Please consider donating so that Shanitah can resume school, perhaps (someday) take dance lessons, and accomplish her dreams.

Emmanuel’s Story

Emmanuel Zziwa
14 years old

Emmanuel was born and raised in Mityana. His parents parents died abruptly in a car accident as they were returning from a wedding. Emmanuel is a bright and intelligent boy who loves school, but he has no money to pay tuition. One day, Emmanuel would like to be a lawyer.

Prossy’s Story

Prossy Nankabirwa
4 years old

Prossy loves to play with her friends. She is very tender and caring toward other children. She often says that she would like to be a nurse.

Jonnah’s Story

Jonnah Walusimbi
7 years old

Jonnah and his mother came to our orphanage in June, asking for help. His mother was HIV positive. She died of AIDS a few months ago, leaving Jonnah in our care. We recently received the bad news that Jonnah is also HIV positive. We are grateful to be able to give him love, food and shelter. But we urgently need money for medicine, clothing and other care.

Ruth’s Story

Ruth Nakiwala
11 years old

Ruth is a sweet and spiritual child. She loves to play netball and dreams of, one day, becoming a pastor. Ruth used to live with her parents, but they became ill. Ruth’s parents brought her to us when they became too weak to work, and were unable to support her. Ruth is in grade three, primary school. She hopes to continue to advance in her studies. Please consider donating to help Ruth reach her potential.
